Product information and maintenance
Are all works unique?
All pieces are handmade and therefore unique. Sometimes I create a design more than once, for example, if there's high demand.
Do you also accept requests or custom work?
Yes. I’d be happy to create a piece especially for you, as long as it aligns with my own style.
If you like a sold piece, I can make something in a similar direction, possibly with your preferred colors. As long as it fits my way of working, I’d love to bring it to life for you.
What material do you use?
I use 100% cotton for my tufting. In exceptional cases, I use (acrylic) wool if a specific color isn't available in cotton.
The frames are made of wood and treated with an environmentally friendly wood oil.
How can I keep my tufted artwork looking beautiful for as long as possible?
Because I work with 100% cotton yarn, the colors may fade slightly over time in direct sunlight. If you'd prefer to keep the colors fresh for longer, it's best to hang it out of direct sunlight.
How do I best clean my tufted artwork?
If the work has become dusty, it's best to carefully remove the dust with a lint roller. Don't use a vacuum cleaner, as this could pull the threads loose.
You can wipe the wooden frame with a soft cloth.
I see some imperfections in the work, is that normal?
All tufted art and frames are handcrafted with great care and love. Small imperfections are part of the process and contribute to the unique character of each piece.
Shipping and delivery
Can I also come and pick up the work?
Absolutely. If you'd prefer to pick up the work in person, please email hallo@charliebakker.shop. We'll then schedule a pickup.
Do you also ship outside the Netherlands?
Yes, I generally ship throughout Europe. Do you live outside of Europe? Please email hallo@charliebakker.shop, and I'll calculate the shipping costs separately for you.
How long does it take before I receive the work?
All items in the webshop are in stock and will ship within a few days of ordering. Delivery time depends on your country of residence. Delivery within the Netherlands will typically take 2-3 days.
Returns and damages
Can I return my purchase?
I assume you're making a conscious purchase. I put a lot of time and care into designing, creating, and packaging each piece. However, if you wish to cancel your purchase for any reason, please email hallo@charliebakker.shop, and I'll send you the return information.
My purchase arrived damaged, what now?
I package everything with great care and attention to ensure your artwork arrives safely. If anything does get damaged during shipping, please email hallo@charliebakker.shop . You'll receive a refund, or if possible, I'll repair the artwork for you.
